Living in California the overwhelming majority of my life, almost all my friends have Chase cards, mostly the CSR. Mostly because they are a SW\United partner. This applies to both Southern and Northern California.

The ones who have the AMEX Plat are the ones who have the business versions for their consulting (SW Engineering) businesses as they are independent contractors.

This statement is definitely true for me. Nor-Cal native here, and primarily a United/Southwest frequent flier.
