Way to go !!
Congrats on your approval!!!! I applied for this card last month and I got approved for 6K. They pulled EQ. Yes, they also didn't tell me my card limit and I had to wait for the card. I only spent online on Cabelas and I haven't spent anything outside. They sent me a free Multi-Tool with flashlight for being a Cabelas Visa cardmember.
Ron.
Are Credit Limits determined mostly by income?
I
this card.
I'm an AU on DH's card. Opened at 5K, one year later requested a CLI (always a hard pull on Cabelas, IIRC) and went to 10K.
APR is at 10.18%

Yes, I think it is. I think $6K is the max for the initial.

Did they hard pull for CLI?
Ron.
Yes they did, and we were expecting it.
IIRC all CLI's at Cabela's are hard pulls. Of course, with any good luck at all, someone will chime in and claim they didn't get a hard pull.
Cabela's (again IIRC) always pulls Equifax, and they do soft DH on Equifax with some frequency - so I don't know why they insist on a hard pull. ;( Definitely worth it - a hard pull isn't the end of the world, and the increased CL was great.
And my favorite part - this card is crazy easy to manage online. Alliant only allows one payment per 24 hours and if you submit a second payment before the first one is processed, the first one will be cleared and only the second one processed. BofA only allows so many online payments per month - 4 I think. And this is currently our only card that allows us to pay to a credit balance. That means if I charge my phone bill to it, I can pay it off within minutes instead of waiting for it to post.
