Called to do a Walmart recon...

Is there a time frame you have to call to see if they'll recon? My husband applied yesterday, got the whole 7-10 days thing, called today (the back door number listed on this board) and they didn't even go over his CR with him or anything, they just said they can't do anything like that (over turning the instant decision). We've never tried to recon so i'm not sure how it works... but does this sound typical?

With GE yes they are very hard to r econ.

They flat out said they DON'T recon once a decision is made, it's made. Which I know isn't true, because there are recon success stories here. Was it just the rep that we got possibly?

Call and try again with an underwriter maybe?

They do, you need to get a UW on the phone and not a CSR.
