Latley I've been calling to try to lower my APR on all my cards, with little luck (I got .65% decrease on one card from Amex) . But when I called Discover they offered to take it down from 27% to 23% or give me 0% for a year. I took the later and next year will call for a perm reduction. So FYI, if you have a Discover card call to see if you can get that promo offer.
Does anyone know if Discovers 5% google wallet category works for online purchaes or just in store, the rep said she thought Apple Pay worked online but not google pay. Any tried this last year?

If you buy anything using your Discover card, I suggest you pay it off before your 0% interest rate expires. I would not count on a "perm reduction" next year.
@Gollum yes, I always pay that card off the interest rate is insane on it
Discover's terms specifically exempt Google Pay use online.
Digital Wallet purchases include some online purchases and some in-store purchases made with your smartphone, tablet, or wearable. Wallets that qualify include Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay and in store with Google Pay.

I made some purchases on my computer using Google Pay last year and they didn't count.
