Can you get increases if you don't use your card that much?

So, I got a Mariott Premiere Card for $5,000 not bad considering the fact that I had bad credit in the past and I am just starting to rebuild.  If I only use like 200-300 and pay it off every month or most of it off will they reduce my credit limit?  Will this prevent me from getting credit increases in the future? I am really a cash gal, but I needed credit cards to build the score.  What should I do?  I also have a Macy's and Target card that I am afraid to use because I just prefer to pay cash for everything

I do not see why they would CLD you on this. The real fact is you will use your card and PIF. They will like to see that and in time, I feel they will grow the CL with you.

As long as you are responsible with the card, there should be no AA taken - YMMV - but that is my opinion!

They certainly reserve the right to CLD you. It's the risk we all run.

I've been given CLI on a card I do not use, but I HAVE to use it 1x/yr or it will simply get closed. So this year I bought an umbrella.
