Can you switch Target RED card to be Visa

Would it be possible for me to request my current store only Target RED card be turned into a Visa? Any downsides to this? They just upped my limit from 2,000 to 2,700 without a request. May be a good time.

The Target Visa is only for those that had it prior to it being discontinued.  Unless there are changes with TD who recently took over servicing the cards, there is no way to apply or get upgraded to the Visa.

Target has been done with Visa since '07 or '08.

Saddly they dont offer Target VISA anymore I have heard that it might come back. But congrats on your CLI $2,700 is a great CL for Target CC.

Wow I am out of the loop. Good to know. Unfortunately I just moved to a place where the closest Target is over 30 minutes away.

Well, the good thing is that you can also use the Redcard on target.com and you will still receive the 5% discount, plus free shipping without limits, plus an extra 30 days for any returns.  Since my state now charges sales tax for Amazon purchases, I comparison shop with target.com and sometimes they offer better deals now.
