Cap 1 CLI 6 mos?

I just called the backdoor and she was really nice and said I Had excellent payment history and I was one of there preferred users da da da da, and tried to do the CLI and it said my account was not eligible for customer initiated credit line increases she said that this did not mean I would get one but that I couldn't call and ask for them.. I've had the account for 6 months today and to wait for something in the mail or check my statement... Has anyone gotten one like this or am I SOL?

Usually if u cant call in and request a CLI then every 3,6,or 12mths they pull yr credit file which is called a annual review and if your score has increased and criteria for increase then they give you one!  So Good luck my Kays card is once a yr. and another one is 6mths.U should ask before u accept a new card that helps future asking? ALSO... gOOD lUCk and dont be discouraged u will get one eventually.

thnaks so much. I'll call every three months to put a bugg in there ear anyway. Maybe it will happen or maybe once I get hig enough scores I can reapply for another card. I got this one when my scores were in the 500s now they are much higher... so myabe I'l get it anyway! Heres to hoping!
