@FlawlessShineAutoSpa wrote:I just requested a CLI for my Quicksilver Visa online and was told that I would receive a notification in 2-3 days and to look at my doucuments online and I would be getting a email as a reminder... Does this mean that I was declined? Has anyone gone through this with Cap 1
This has happened to me several times. In my case, each letter I received indicated that my requested CLI was denied primarily because "Recent use of this account's existing credit line has been too low." This is true, since I tend to use my other cards with much higher CL's much more than my Cap One cards, the latter of which I am considering cancelling.
However, one nice outcome of receiving the Cap One CLI rejection letter is that they always include your Equifax CREDIT SCORE (free!). Although they don't actually say it is a FICO credit score, it is based on the FICO scale range of 300 - 850 and their scores always match those I obtained from myFICO for the same approximate time period. Just be careful to note that the credit score DATE may be a month or so earlier than your CLI request, probably reflecting their use of periodic SP's on my EQ credit report from which they obtain my credit score and have it available for account decisions (such as CLI's) for a period of time. Still, nice to be able to obtain this score for FREE, even if my CLI was rejected!

Nice! Getting a Fico score would help a lot.. Thanks for the info Transmogrifying_Bee
its always a soft pull. And it has never worked for me.

Yes, I got an instantonlineCLI for my Quicksilver card. It went from $750 to $1,250 with a soft pull, and then asked me to accept or deny theCLI, or put in a smaller amount that I would accept, IE $200 instead of the fullcli. Clicked continue and it went back to the accounts page with the new credit line available, and an increased cash advance line. So it's is possible!
This was my experience as well. I've had my Quicksilver card for 6 months as of yesterday. Earlier today, I requested a CLI online and my CL went from $3,000 to $5,000! It was an instant approval and the new credit line was reflected in my account detail immediately after I clicked on the continue button to accept it.
I hope that everything works out for the OP.

Yes. I used the online CLI in February and was instantly approved for $10,500 (current limit was $7500).
