Cap 1 How soon can you PC?

I've just had my second statement cut on my Capital One Journey Card. I've looked on their website and it looks like I'm pre-approved for the QS1, but I'm only interested in the regular QS with no AF. Is this too soon to request a PC? How do PC's even work? Do they affect my AAoA? Do they HP?

They do not HP. Given your card is so new, and you're preapproved for the QS1 and NOT the QS, I'd probably wait a bit, but since it is not a HP and you can actually request a PC through online chat, you can go for it if you wish. I successfully did a PC from a Platinum MC in the Credit Steps program, to a no AF QS through online chat about8 months after having the card. It was a breeze, the agent was super nice and helpful and I was reaping the benefits of my new card, less than a week later.

I've had my journey card for two months and had it PC'd to a quicksilver last week. Had to call in though.
