Cap 1 PC process?

Did a search, found some answers, want to validate:

I have a QS1 that is 8 months old. It started at 1500 and has grown to 3500 CL.  Most recent CLI was a month or two ago.  Has a large balance now but I will make a payent to 0 it out this week as the 0 APR is expiring..

Last week I applied and received another QS1 at  3000.  (For temporary utility % purposes, future growth,  and because I will be jettisoning a rebuilder card).

I understand that I can not combine these cards for at least 6 months, which is fine.

Can/Should I request a PC on the old QS1 at this time?  I assume I should PC after I pay the balance to 0.   Is that a SP transaction?  Does a recent CLI on the card prevent a PC?

PC to Venture is probably a bridge too far, so I will just be asking for QS I presume.

Thanks.

PC to Venture means you forgo the rather large new card bonus. Try to get the annual fees waived and then merge when you qualify in 6 months.

Re: Cap 1 PC process?

QS1 (what I have) has fees.  QS does not, correct?  So wouldn't I PC to QS now? Essentially 'waving fees'

Then, as you state, combine in 6 months, and if applicable apply for Venture.
