We’ll see I guess. The CSR seemed to believe that the point of these cards were to get somebody with less than great credit into a good card that could the could grow with, so we’ll see. The CSR - if she really knew what see what talking about - specifically said this was a better option than the QS1 and that these didn’t used to be offered to people with a file this limited.

Either way, even if it never gets to where I normal QS would be, it’s still a decent card, and the clock will begin ticking on it now to start building her AAoA.

Very true, and if nothing else, if Cap One ever brings back the ability to combine cards, DW could apply again later down the road but for a Venture/another QS and presumably get a much higher SL and combine limits after a few months (if she/you together so choose).
