Cap 1 steps question

Does anyone know if Cap 1 does a soft pull for the steps increase and if so, who do they pull??  My sixth statement will cut on the 6th.  They pulled TU when I was approved.  My score then was 598.  My TU score is now 750.  I truly hope they do a soft pull and pull TU!!!  I am more afraid that it is already determined in their system though.

Cap1 does random AR's They look at EQ and the credit steps increase seems to be heavily based off usage. Good luck!

Re: Cap 1 steps question

Well phooey, I cut back on my usage because we were pushing everything through DH's venture card for the bonus.  I was hoping they would pull TU since that is who they pulled to approve my card.  EQ is my problem child right now.  I am working on a dispute with them and in the process, the old collection updated so I lost points.  I will keep my fingers crossed that the dispute gets resolved before they pull.  I had one increase already.  I went from $1k to $3k in February.  I was hoping for another $2k even though that is totally unrealistic.  lol  It is a bit of a let down to finally get a score up in the mid 700 range and not get a perk for it.

Re: Cap 1 steps question

Not sure what is going on with my statements.   Like clockwork, statements have been cut on the 6th since November. As of the 9th, no statement.  I decided to try the request increase only to get tne 2-3 day message
