A step by step listing would be great.

If you sign into your CAP 1 account and go to services there is a "Request account combination". The requirements are as follows:
Thanks so much for posting that. Do you know if they require all cards account involved to be open 6 months, or is having one of them open for 14 months sufficient to meet that requirement?
I'm not 100% sure you could always chat with a rep and see if they can answer that

I finally got the chance to combine two of my Cap One cards tonight! Transferred my Platinum Prestige over to my QS. Now I'll ask for a cli & change that to a QSWEMC when the time is right. Can't wait to combine my two Venture's. Works great. Just have to order another AU and cut up old cards that are no longer of use. Stil learning a few things here. I guess this is the way to get higher cl's and lower cc's.
Cool! Glad they worked the kinks out.
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Humu, I believe BOTH cards must be at least 6 months old.
That is correct; both cards must be at least 6 months old.

It says accounts (plural) most be open at least 6 months. Seems incredibly straightforward to me, with no wiggle room for interpretation.
That is absolutely correct! I tried to combine my 5 year old Platinum with my 3 month old Venture and it would not let me until my Venture reaches 6 months. Good luck! Im looking forward to trying again in November when my Venture matures to 6 months.
