I have a Cap 1 payment question. I want my balance to post as zero this month but have some pending purchases that will post after my payment due date. I currently have a zero payment due because I have prepaid on the account but I do have a balance due to pending purchases.
If I pay my entire balance "after" the payment due date but before the statement is cut, will it show a zero balance when it reports to the CB?

The amount reported to the CRB's will be the amount shown on your current statement, So you'll need to PIF prior to the statement cut date for it to report zero balance,,
Any pending charges posting after the statement cuts will go onto your next months statement,
Inversly, any payment made on or before the due date will credit to the current month,
