I currently have two Quicksilver One Mastercards... I was pre-qual'd for a Quicksilver Visa and Venture. I don't travel so I don't think I really want a Venture... would there be any reason to apply for the Quicksilver Visa vs. PCing my Quicksilver One MC with the $4500 limit to the no fee Quicksilver MC?

No. Don't waste the hard pull. As your profile grows . so will the qs1. once your limit gets over 3k.so you could pc it right now. if its 6 months old. they will pc it to the Qs mastercard. no AF. then once over 5k. they will pc it to the world version. no AF. so no. But i must say. if you want high limit right now. the Venture is the way to go. 2 miles per dollar as opposed to 1.5. cash back. with the qs1. look at siggy, i actually got 3 cap one cards. plat. Qs and venture. well worth in my opinion. Travel does not just consist of air travel. Trains, buses, rental cars, cabs, gas, hotels. any thing . so its well worth it then to get a couple dollars in cash back. good luck.

Apply. ..they both offer sign up bonuses and can layer be pcd to no af cards
@Maybe you didnt see op already has the card @4500. why would they apply. they wanted to know should they apply for the visa version. when they already got a qs 1 at 4500 dollars.
Right. we know that. but they already got 2 qs 1 master cards. so just pc one. if they want the venture i agree but there is no need to have 3 quicksilver cards. regardless of the limit. thats just way too many hardpulls. and no. they don't always pull 1 app. many times they will triple pull you twice.
Hmmmm, might possibly consider the Venture for the bonus once spending picks up in the summer before school starts although I'm not apping until September. Saving for a trip to Disney next year and that may come in handy. I'll have to read more into the possibility of two apps/1 pull. Thank you for your input.

You keep saying the miles apply to gas, i dont think it does.
If you find some of the VS features advantagous to you then go for it. For example when Fandango runs the buy one get one free friday movies. I have enough VS cards to go every weekend.
If you shop Amazon a lot then you can redeem for Amazon Gift Cards at the same value as travel. For me that was as good as cash.
One of the misconceptions about the venture card is that miles are redeemed for travel only. Miles can be converted to cash options, account credit, various gift cards or travel. The bonus miles are definitely worth a look and pull.
JUG - When I look at redeeming our 50k miles, the purchase eraser value is the same as cashing in for gift cards or account credit ($500). If we booked a trip, these miles would be worth $1k? That isn't what I am seeing on our account.

If you used for a statement credit, the $50k miles would be worth $250.
