Cap One Question

Hey laz98, my scores are below.  I guess they were a little above what the latest FICO score is.  I checked my FICO score after applying.  I also applied for Hooters and see they pulled TU, so my TU score probably took a bit of a hit.  Hopefully, Hooters will give me the card and having more credit will add some points...

I have read lots of bad things on here about Cap 1, but I have never had an issue with them. We CO 4 or 5 accts in 2003 and filed BK in 2004. They gave me a new card 4-08 with a 500CL. In 4 mos of perfect pay, CLI to 750.

I never had problems before either, and had our cards for 4-5 years.

And yes, they pulled all three and report to all three as well.

I have had nothing but nice vibes from Capital one.  I had a card with them discharged in BK 07 in August of 2007 and they gave me another chance with a $500 limit and now it is at $1250, with two CLIs.  I have never been late and kept my utilization low.  They have helped me bring my credit score up since my bankrupcty was discharged.  My husband also has had the same good fortune with them, they gave him a $1000 limit up front and now his limit is at 1500, with one CLI.

yup  me too ..........started with 200 with a/f and deposit.  I used to get so mad at them when they would give me 100 dollars cli.  My card had a 600 cap.  Then they sent me another card and I combined and now at 5100 and they waive fee.  They sent back my deposit a long time ago.

I am glad I hung in there with them.  My BK was 12/99.
