After 18 months with no CL from Cap One, I followed the backdoor thread in November or December and they raised me from $500 to $800. It has been well SD'ed and I was buying gas every three months.
I spent about 100 bucks in December and PIF'ed. The statement today shows a rate reduction. Last month it was 15.65 for purchases and 16.74 for cash advances. This month it shows 13.90/14.99.
Coincidence?
