OK, So I have two current Cap One accounts, one is a Platinum account, no AF, $1500 limit. The other is a converted Orchard Bank account, $59 AF, $800 limit. I figured since they raised my limits last month, I might qualify for the QS1. So I apped for it, and got turned down. Looking at my denial letter, the reason is for "too many Capital One accounts". I thought it might be a good idea to do a recon and see if I could PC the converted orchard account to a QS1 account.
Only problem is I have no idea how to do this, who to call, ect....
Anyone got the recon number to call and advice one who and/or what to ask for?
I had an old Orchard that became a QS1. All I did was call into the main customer service line and they transferred me to a Credit Analyst and the rest was history.
Thank you Andy, I'll try that today and see what they say.
Woo-Hoo! They just upgraded it to a Quicksilver account with 1.5% cash back!
Quicksilver or Quicksilver 1?
QS1 will still have an annual fee
regular QS will not
I would contact the EO and have that changed to a regular QS
Nice work!

The account that was originally an Orchard account has been Upgraded to a QuicksilverOne Rewards account and my other Platinum card has been upgraded to the Quicksilver Rewards account with no AF. I'd like to see if they will reconsider my original app for the new account now that both cards have been upgraded. Should I do that through the regular CS line or is there a special recon line I should use?
