Cap One application-EO contact information-PLEASE HELP

Hello and Good Day,

I was wondering if anybody had any information they could pass along to me.

Short story-Rebuilding from a bankruptcy-Applied for Cap One platinum on  1-24-14. Application is still processing after 12 days. Is this normal?? Do credit cards take this long to be decisioned? It's been awhile since I've had one so my memory is a bit rusty. Customer Service gives me NO information when I call

I have heard great things of people contacting the EO to get things done. Should I wait it out for another week or could somebody please get me in touch with the EO to see if they can decision the application.

No news in this case is good news IMHO

Wait it out and then if no success contact EO

It can take some time if the app is under review.  The EO is usually reserved for recons or assistance with CLI not if they haven't made a decision yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping I can get approved. I would like a cc to start the rebuilding process. I just got an auto loan with capital one auto finance so I'm hoping the relationship continues to grow!

Same situation for me, going on 10 days on a Cap 1 Venture app.  Automated app status 800-548-4593 said still under review as did regular CS.  I called 1-800-625-7866 (suggested on another forum) (but also one of myfico's listed backdoor #'s).  They now answer the phone as an Application specialist or something like that.  Anyway, he put me on hold, came back and said the card had been approved and t&c mailed out, card would follow in a few days.  No info on limit, but I didn't ask either.  Auto system still says under review tonight.

Hello everyone!!

Well I was approved!!!! YEAH! The card arrived today, HOWEVER the limit was only 300.00 Not that I'm complaining but I was hoping for at least 500 or maybe even 1000. But everyone has to start somewhere. I now have a cap one cc and cap one auto loan. 20 days post discharge. I am VERY happy with the progress so far. 

BUT do you think the EO would give me a CLI at activation or am I pushing my luck? Is it worth trying??
