Cap One reporting different between TU & EQ

I opened my Cap One Platinum card in Jun 2002. I have had the same CL of 500$ since then. There was about 3 years were I didnt have any activity on it. Then when I started my quest to rebulid my credit months ago I saw the importance of keeping this card open since it is my longest account. On my TU report it shows opened on Jun 2002 the correct date of last activity (last month) the credit limit (500) the highest balence reported (531) and I have never missed a payment.

Now here is where it gets a little strange on my EQ report. I show that I have two Cap One accounts. They both report as opened Jun 2002 but here is the differences.

1.

Status as ofDate opened [?]Date of last activity [?]Largest past balance [?]Account Type [?]Account holder [?]Scheduled Payment Amount [?]Industry

Mar, 2007
Jun, 2002
Mar, 2007
$531
Revolving
Individual
$10
All Banks

 2.

Status as ofDate opened [?]Date of last activity [?]Credit limit [?]Account Type [?]Account holder [?]Industry

Mar, 2012
Jun, 2002
Feb, 2012
$500
Revolving
Individual
All Banks

The question is do I report this, could it change my AAoA. The TU report is basicaly both combined, but EQ seems to have split up the account somehow, one showing the CL and the other reporting the largest bal of the history of the credit line. Any suggestions?
P.S I hate Cap One :-)

Did you call in to report a lost/stolen card in March of 2007?

Re: Cap One reporting different between TU & EQ

soemthing happened in march of 2007 that caused them to transfer your account information to a new account number.  That is why it is double-reported.

They are showing on myfico EQ report and the report from myfreecredit report (EQ). It is listed as an open account under revolving accounts along with my other cards.
