Cap One..

Hi, I did a search for Cap One backdoor number, and called. the CSR said that there were no offers available for a "customer initiated inquiry" and therefore cannot do a CLI. Did anyone else have a similar situation???  I have been a good customer, my current CL is $1050.  Any input would be appreciated!

Yeah I was told the same them a few days ago. I don't really think its nothing u can do. I gonna just keep calling and asking and hopefully they get tired of me and give in. It worked with them b4

If nothing showed up in their computer, then there is nothing the Account Specialist can do at that point.  Use the card and PIF them.

I'm told the same thing almost every time I call. When I DO get a cli or rate decrease, I think it's just a matter of lucky timing on my part.

I "try" not to call them more than once every 3 months.

I have gotten the same response as well and same status as you!! Not sure what Cap1 uses as determining factors for who is and who is not eligible for increases or better APRs--i am use the type of card has a lot to do with it

I did that in late January and now today I check my account and I got a 500 cli!  Just be patient!
