Cap1 doesn't do recon for any reason. Calling won't change the denial. The problem is that multiple inquiries for a car loan or mortgage are counted as one for FICO scoring. It does not mean that a creditor cannot count them separately for the purposes of issuing credit themselves. It sounds like you need to spend 6 months to a year in the garden letting some inquiries ago off our out before trying again.
