Cap1 Cashback now offered as a check

Logged into my cap1 account and noticed I had the option to now receive a check instead of a statement credit.  Was I just oblivious before? or is this a new thing they are offering?

Has to have been an option for a while, since I got 2 checks sent to me this past November from my CAP1 Cards.

Is the spark a cash back card? i know its a business card just not sure of the reward structure

They have both a cash and a miles version of Spark.
