How do you know when a Cap1 CSR is lying?
Easy, their lips are moving.

Congrats! Must be nice.
I don't have that kind of juice with Cap1. I hope NFCU offers me some BT love next month. *le sigh*

Yeah their SubPrime priority has my own CapOne card in a quagmire.
After doing combos the past couple years the limit is supportive for reasonable spending but i also prefer to roll balances on occasion which balances out their books to this client's variety approach.
Problem is i can't use their card because the freaking APR is a staggering 23% if not more by now and as we all know they don't do APR reductions. Which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem right? Just app a new card for a chance at a lower APR and then combo later down the line.
Which introduces yet another new problem. I refuse to take an insane Triple Pull series of inquiries anymore just for a single card product. They've roasted my CR's enough before and im just now getting those shook off the reports.
So instead of lighting up spend with them, their competitors with much more lower and reasonable APR's get all the business and CapOne sits idle in sockdrawer with just a pack of gum and/or coffee purchase on occasion then PIF and back in the dark they go again for another bunch of months.
How do i escape this?
@creditmagic7
Idle is right. I just use my card for uber rides and netflix subscriptions, then PIF. Just enough action to keep active. I need to wait til 2019 for all my recent inquiries to fall off before I even think of apping for the Venture card. That triple pull is just painful.
