While it was nice of Cap1 to PC me from Plat to QS, I already have a QS1 card.
The Plat (opened 6 months ago) steps were completed, CL increased by $500. The QS1 is in it's 4th step with one more to complete.
When I spoke to EO about the Plat PC to QS, I asked what to do about the QS1? I was told keep using it as there are no upgrades available right now.
So, I am wondering if the next move is to PC the QS1 is to Savor One? I do not care about a difference of 3 to 4% on purchases to the Savor. Also seems silly to pay an AF when there is the same card with no fee. Don't need the Venture as I have 3 Amex cards to handle travel and hotels.
congrats on the QS PC.
The QS1 is the Guidon Flag for buckeeters like me. I'm 11 months into and still no PC options in sight. Pretty sure its the biggest bucket of all buckets
so only a few lucky manage to get PC from QS1 to anything else.

There's no option to upgrade to savor at all right now. Your best bet is to hope that they bring back account combinations soon so you can combine the qs1 into the qs as the qs1 is notoriously hard to upgrade. Plus, the qs doesn't have an annual fee. Once combinations come back, that's what I'm planning to do.

Nobody can PC to the Savor cards right now or I would have already done it.

Check it daily if you want. As soon as you see Venture One, snatch it up and it will get you out of the fee, then in 6 months you can PC to QS or hopefully by then, Savor One.

Okay, will look out for the combinations. Thanks

No, did not check the link. Will do so. Thanks.
So, looks like the Venture One will have to be it.

The Venture One shows up on QS1, the QS doesn’t usually, but anything that gets you away from the AF would be worth it IMO and you already have a QS anyway so it shouldn’t be a big deal to give up 6 months of rewards (assuming you can’t use the Venture Miles) if it gets you out of the AF. Hopefully by the time you get done with the 6 months, Savor One will be available to PC to or account combinations will come back at some point.

They currently aren't offering them, but rumor and latest data is pointing at it returning soon.

Use the card each and every month. A handful of data points here indicate that consecutive months of usage may be the key to upgrading the difficult-to-PC QuicksilverOne. I was able to upgrade two QuicksilverOnes to Quicksilvers after about 12 or 13 consecutive months of usage.
Your first task is to lose the fee. If that means taking the VentureOne, so be it. The good news is that once you lose the fee, PC offers are much more likely to appear down the road.
Thanks to all who responded. I learned a few things.
