so I called cap1 to see if I had any offers since I'm coming up on one year. They told me they didn't see anything available. Is there a certain time to ask or is it more luck of the draw?

Generally 6 - 12 mos. from last PC. I never have any offers either, i like to ask for fun.

I was asking weekly. No luck on my QS1. Was trying to Pc to regular QS to avoid the AF. Two weeks back I applied for a new card and was approved for the platinum at $3k. I then asked for a PC on the QS1 and was told no offers so for the heck of it I asked them to check for offers on the brand new platinum card. That one had an offer to switch to the QS. So I switched. Kinda funny to me that 4+ year card has never had an offer and brand new card had one.
