and the visa version is rumored to grow quicker than the MasterCard version
As I mentioned previously, I chatted and requested the PC and my new card will remain a MC according to the account specialist. Not sure if this is the case with all QS1 to QS upgades, but this was my experience.
Well, I already have upgraded what used to be MTV Visa which they changed to Journey (MTV program was cancelled) then just few days ago to the Quick Silver Visa. and I already have the Venture Visa. I wanted to keep a MasterCard and already have 2 Visas with Capital One. I'm not aware that QS1 Mastercard can become FEE FREE QS? and keep the Mastercard logo on it? I'm thinking they have have to re-issue a new account number that starts with Number 4 instead of 5- Which means the QS Visa.
Anybody have QS MC with NO Annual FEE? not QS1.?

I just upgraded my MC QS1 (that had already had AF waived previously) to a Quicksilver World MasterCard with no fee. I don't think the numbers have changed, but I should have it in the mail any day now, so I'll let you know.
i have QS no fee MC for the past 2 years. i got it as journey MC, which i pc'd on 2014 to QS.

anni it shouldn't change the numbers since it's staying as a mc
I have read on many threads here in the past that you can't change between payment networks. So if the card started out as a mastercard, it will always be a mastercard no matter what.

I have a no AF QS MC that I PC'ed from a Platinum. I got the two Cap1 cards within a month of each other- first the Platinum, then the QS1. The conversion from Platinum to QS was painless. I've never been able to PC the QS1 into a regular QS though. Although, once I pay it off, it's getting combined into my no AF QS, so it doesn't bother me too much.
