Cap1 Secured to Unsecured

Just for future references. I was wondering has anyone ever did a PC from the capital one secured cc to an unsecured?  I want to garden my secured for at least 6-8 more months but i really like the quicksilver.  any good shot for a PC?

nope, my wife is looking at applying for her 2nd card and once she gets it she will cancel her Secured from Cap1.

No you have to apply they wont unsecure.

They changed their policy about a year ago. They don't graduate at all right now. I messaged them about it a couple of times. Both of times they asked me to apply for another card. I told them that I would not get another cap1 product as long as they have a triple cr pull policy.

Damn that sucks. I guess its fine. I'll just apply after a while then.. Thanks guys!!

I ran into this back when I had a WF secured card.  They "changed their policy" and quit graduating cards.  I was so pissed because that's why I had the card in the first place.  I closed the card, and sure enough a year later they were graduating again.  You might give it time - policies are always changing.

Thanks for the advice!! I think I might check it out when I feel I'm ready to get a new card!
