No, it doesn't matter. Email the address I gave you. Tell then how long you have been a customer. Explain that you have been looking for the following: A lower APR, a Product change to a better card, and a credit limit to match the changes you have made in your credit profile since becoming a customer. Tell them that your current credit limit is X, you hit the button and received Y, but what you feel you deserve is Z (being an amount higher than what you're actually looking for, so if you want 2500 ask for 5k, like I wish I had done. ) You'll get a call back from a very, very nice person in the executive office who will ask you a ton of questions. Be polite, try to temper your frustration and be clear about what you want, and be honest. You'll very likely get most if not all that you ask for.
Really, it depends on what you want, as far as what you should ask for, but ask for every thing you can and ve willing to accept less.

I'll have to wait until after the holidays. I work the next 4 days in a row, off 1 day, work the next 2 and then I'm off on a cruise and have 13 days off. Then factor in the Holidays...sigh. It'll be awhile then. But I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the email for them. I appreciate your help.
No problem, good luck! If you can find the time, it's worth it. The call doesn't take more than maybe 10 minutes or so, if you can be available or take a break... but either way, definitely let me know how it went! I'll be rooting for you.

So when I email them, how long does it take for them to call? (Since you mentioned take 10 minutes). I just can't email and then be waiting around all day for a call. But if I know that they'll call quickly after they receive an email, I would do it earlier.
some people have said they get a call with in a couple hours. For me it took like 2 days I think. They've generally called me between 10am and 1pm eastern give or take.

Oh...eh. That won't work for me then. ![]()
:-/ I know I got lucky they called when I was able to take the call at work. Either way, they'd leave you a message and a number though, so you can call back when it's convenient.
**edit** that way you can get back to them on a lunch break or something maybe.

Oh, well that's a good thing. Maybe I'll try Monday on my only day off and see if I get a return call that day. If they don't call until after then, if they leave a number, that would be awesome.
I wrote to them on Sunday the 24th and they called me I think that next day on Monday when they opened. I'd have to check my posts lol. I posted here right after.
Okay I contacted them on a Sunday and they got back to me on a Tuesday. It wouldn't hurt to email them now, and then you will have a person assigned to you basically and you can either call them back when you get a moment if you miss the call, or call them on Monday? That's my advice but maybe someone has a better idea.
