Cap1 Venture X for New Years

Noted on freezing talk not allowed. I have the Capital one quicksilver (about 2 years old) and savor one ( about 1 year old) both bucketed. Would you suggest I close one prior to applying? QS is one of my oldest cards so im afraid to close, and savorone is pretty good catch all once i cap everything else.

closing one now isn't likely going to reflect in Cap1's system for a month if not two 

so if there is actually a hard two card limit for your account, it's not going to help for apping before the year's end

Also, predicting what Capital One will do on any given application is like reading tarot cards while rolling dice with your fingers and toes all crossed.

closing one now isn't likely going to reflect in Cap1's system for a month if not two

I was going to say this. Even if you close one now, you'd have to wait for Cap One's systems to update, so the earliest you'd be eligible to apply anyway would be end of January @onepeace25.

Is the New Year's date a deadset timeframe or are you flexible on trying for Venture X further into January?

It's usually less than a month.

I can always wait a few extra weeks if this can mean the difference, if this is the way y'all recommend then im all in
