I have a high balance on one of my QS cards because of the balance transfer. I hope that doesn't affect it about 40%. Anyone with success thatt is not at the monthly expense level?
I had success this morning. About 2 weeks ago I did a large balance transfer to the card I wanted to keep open which put my util. on that card above 90%. My plan was to wait until the balance transfer posted and then combine accounts to drop the util. back down to 30%. But then with my luck, the link disappeared (imagine my panic.. lol), but thankfully the link came back today. So long story short, I was able to combine my cards with one of the cards having >90% util. and the other one at 0%.
The link is back for me but it still says that none of my accounts are eligible. The accounts meet all the stated requirements so it must be something unsaid causing the problem.

https://services2.capitalone.com/api/selfservice/accountcombination/eligibility once logged in.
They removed the status reason from the call as they caught onto that people were hitting that API call directly to see what the system was doing.
I'm still blocked from combining accounts.
Guess who's closing his Cap One accounts next month! These toy cards are completely worthless and have served their purpose... I have no qualms in not doing business with Cap One any longer.

Yes they did mask it.. Not sure if they changed anything else other than masking reason?

there can be NO pending transactions on either card. and for best results it seems, both cards should be at $0 bal. That happened to me actually, I had a small balance on one card, 0bal on the other, NO pendings, both over 6 mo old, and I couldnt combine. Once I paid the balance on the other, suddenly I could!
Sorry Pizza, but that is incorrect. Only the donor card needs to be at $0, with no pending transactions.

Good luck to everyone!
Thanks for the update! Cobranded card still isn't eligible for combination. ![]()
