I keep debating on whether I will wait until 3rd or 4th statement to cut. I'm thinking after 2 statements the increase might not be as much. My first statement cut on the 5 th. I've put $3000 through in the month I've had it and will continue running lots through it.  am hoping for a nice cli when it comes time. $3000 increase would be nice!

My husband had 2 statement cuts and requested a cli and got an extra 500 each.

I did kind of jump the gun, i would usually wait the 6 months then request a cli, guess i just got lucky  Others have done what i did and were sucessful, so I just gave it a shot!

Capital 1 raised one of my cards 1000.00 and the other one 500.00 after two months,  I got the cards in April 2015 and both were raised in June.  It doesn't hurt your credit to ask for the increase might be worth a try.  I had called them to ask a question about my credit reporting date and they were the ones who told me that my account looked great and I should consider asking for an increase,

I got a cli on both my capital one cards since my last statement.  Can anyone tell me if this will bump up my credit score?

Yes, they will usually give a CLI after the third statement. It does absolutely no harm to ask, I've been asking each month like clockwork since last november.
