CapOne CLI phone review question

On 12/11/15 I received a $100 cli on plat and qs cards. Since then a statement has cut and I requested another cli but was denied to due to recent increase.

This morning I decided to do rhe online chat and asked to convert my Plat to QS rewards and received that! I then asked for rhe rep to review my account cor another cli and my laptop powered off and won't come back on bleh.

Anyway I decided to call and was transferred to a "supervisor" and she said they can't manually review accounts for cli. She said they can only be done online or via rhe automated phone systsm. Because of the inconvenience she offersd me a $30 credit on each card. I took it of course but thought it was kind of funny.

Now my question, should I call again to request a cli? My 3rd statement just cut on the 25th and I will be making payments on the 31st.

If you accepted the $100 dollar increase your account may not be eligible for another 6 months. I don't believe there is anyway to reverse it once you accept the offer.

I don't want to reverse the recent cli. I should state that my cards are in the credit rebuilder programs.

CLI's are not just handed out in exchange for time and are based on what your credit profile and income qualify for.  Has your credit improved significantly since the last request?  A $100 CLI would indicate to me that the creditor has concerns with your credit.

Once you accept a CLI, you're ineligible for another one for six months. I would've turned down the $100 increase and held out for something a bit better.

As I said before, I'm in the credit steps program so I thought a $100 cli was ok for only having the cards for two months. I didn't know I could hold out for a higher increase or hope for a higher increase! Ya learn something new every day!
