Just wondering if anyone may have information in regard to a PC that CapOne did on me, in regard to my Venture Card. I received a new card in the mail from CapOne, which I thought was odd since I knew that my current Venture card does not expire until mid-2020. I noticed right away that the new card is a MasterCard, not a Visa. I called CapOne. A rep advised me that the Venture card had been changed from Visa to MC, but had no idea why the change was made.
Just wondering if others have been forced-changed from Visa to MC, and if so any idea what the reason may be?
Thanks!
Did you have the VS and it was changed to a WEMC? Or Visa to Mastercard? I didnt get anything either.
Capital One is changing all of the Cabelas Visa cards to MC as well.
Might have something to do with that deal.....or not
I had the opposite experience. About 5-6 months ago, they switched my Quicksilver from WEMC to Visa Signature. I never called to ask why though.
It really doesn't matter because Visa and MasterCard are 99.9% the same. The only difference is at Costco.
