CapOne VentureOne QSO PC several Questions

Hey everyone, I'm in a situation where I have two cards on cap one, the v1 and qs1. My credit score has been steadily increasing, and I've been traveling quite more frequently (two domestic flights in one month, eight international fights in an year). I've been doing a lot of research, and would like to PC both cards to a QS and Venture.

Looking at previous threads, it looks like my only option may be to request CLI until I hit a certain threshold to qualify for a PC, but can you PC from the same card to the better version? I'm reading threads where people are PCing from a QS1 to a Venture, and a V1 to a QS.

Would I be better off to PC my QS1 to Venture and V1 to a QS? I don't know why cap1 makes this so confusing. Can some folks chime in for some success stories, like did you have to request CLI's until a PC? Or did you apply for a new card and get a hard INQ? Can you apply for the Venture and still have the V1? And can you PC the same card to a better version?

Re: CapOne VentureOne QSO PC several Questions

For me, it showed up as an offer to PC my V1 to QS.  I go on chat with Cap One about once a month to see if there are any offers available for either card.  Last month,  I had an offer on QS1 to reduce my interest for 7 months and the offer to PC V1 to QS.  No offers available yet to PC my QS1.  It's not a separate app and HP.  But you would need to talk to a Cap One CSR to do it.

if you have no offers available, you could combine the credit limits to your V1, closing the QS1, and cold app for a QS.  That would be the dreaded 3 bureau HP though.  To combine the limits, you can do that yourself on the website.

Hope this helps!

I'd hop on chat and ask for PC offers. If they have something you like, take it

I was able to PC my QS1 to the regular QS after three months of having been approved for the QS1. I received my card back in late August of last year.
