I agree with AJC! I cannot stand the trifecta pull, aka 3 pulls, aka pull every major credit reporting agency!
The more you learn here and hang around us, you’ll soon realize you’ll never want that to happen again.
That is why is refuse to apply with Crapone anymore.
3 pulls and now it appears triple pulls on CLIs at times, they "are not in my wallet" LOL

Yeah anytime you app for a C1 product they do at least 3 pulls! Could even be 4, 5, or 6 if you count LN, IRS/IDA, Sagestream, etc. I won’t even be surprised if they’re also pulling your FB, Twitter, etc...Regarding 3B pulls...
Recently I spoke to a CSR about a CLI for my Fidelity rewards signature card. They now do a HP with each of the three credit bureaus with no soft pull option! - unbelievable.
Previously they only did a one bureau check (TransUnion) and there was an option for a soft pull. The change in who manages this CC portfolio and resultant shift in policy does not reflect positively on Fidelity.
Has it moved from Elan yet? The application page still lists Elan.
But I expect the impact on Fidelity to be minute anyway. Most people don't know what a hard pull is(or that you can ask for CLIs for that matter)!
A few years ago I was asking a CSR about a hard or soft pull for a cli and she kept telling me that she did not understand what I was talking about and hung up thinking that I am some kind of pervert.

Is fidelity goig to Cap1 vs elan?
The triple pull is kind of excessive, but Capital One is also known to give people a chance who are just starting out (or rebuilding), so it kind of makes sense they want a complete credit profile. For the majority of average consumers, they won't know or care that all 3 bureaus were pulled and they aren't apping frequently enough that it matters.
If they are also now doing a triple pull for CLI, yes, it sucks, but let's be honest, how many CLIs do we really need out of all the ones we ask for? My guess is (if it's true) it is to limit requests to only those who plan on really using the higher limit.

Oh wow Cap 1 CLI requires a triple HP now? Those used to be free ;(
It's Fidelity that's apparently doing the 3B hard pull for CLIs.

Are you not eligible for the Uber card? It's 4% for dining and no annual fee.

Sorry for the sidetrack on the 3 CR HP topic, but to answer the above, not to my knowledge. USB is only divesting a portion of the ELAN portfolio (TPY processing for Debit and ATM). The CC piece will remain with ELAN. Some similar articles confirm what's been referenced in the link below:
Now back on topic 😊
