Applied for a CLI with my 2 cards and was declined with a 745 score

I have had these cards for 2 1/2 years received 1 CLI aproximately 1 1/2 years ago

Never missed a payment, never late

Have only 20% on them

All my other credit revolving and other cards are perfect for the last 7 years when my bankrutcy was discharged

They said my amount on revolving acount is to high but i only have a  20,000 car loan in which I only owe 5,500

C'mon capital one..... really what gives.  I didnt expect a huge bump but something would have been nice

Anyone have any ideas why there declining me

If you use the CLI "luv button" that was to be expected, if you called, I am sorry. Try to call the EO if you really want it.

Yes did use the Luv button as I thought others on this board had good luck that way

Executive offices. Google their CEO email. Thats the only way Crap1 gives meaningful increases.

I had luck emailing their Facebook account for a CLI when auto luv and CSRs were worthless.

The capital One luv button is about as worthless as "peggy" is when she answers.

only deal with upgrades and changes to capital one accounts through the executive office.

Don't short yourself in the email either... ask for upgrade to quicksilver, removal of any annual fees and HUGE CLI... I don't know what you have now but I would say like $300 - request $5k, if you have $3-$5k now - ask for $20k.... they will counter.

I had a Capital One card nearly 6 years before I FINALLLY got a cli to $5000 for $1300 via EO. Email them.
I still dont like Capital One. My Venture card blows. But it was my first card, so the sentimental value is there.

I'd highly recommend calling the EO.
