should I wait for this billing cycle to close, before I ask for a CLI? i'm currently at 4k credit limit. i think i'm going to ask for 15k. hopefully, their counter offer is more than 10k. not sure if i'm reaching too far. my last cli was exactly six months ago, yesterday. went from 2k to 4k just to provide more info. thanks.
Can you even ask for a specific amount with Cap1? Last when I requested for a CLI, it just asked for my income, housing status, etc and gave me an amount.

Online does not give the option to request an amount. It only asks for income and monthly spent on CC's. I wouldn't expect a +$11k cli from cap one. GL
i vaguely remember the previous capital one mobile app allowed you to input your desired credit limit amount, then they would approve or reject it. if that's the case i'm not digging capital one that much right now.
I received a CapOne CLI on both my QS and VentureOne cards about 20 days ago and they didn't allow me to request a limit, they provided me arbitrary amounts, 6k --> 6500 and 4k --> 4400. It was unique because at the beginning of August i was turned down for CLI (SP report from mid-June) and the updated report they had from the SP was about 40 days old based on the information I received.
