Capital One Combine

I'm trying to figure out when I might be eligible to combine my two Cap1 cards. One is a plat that was pc'ed to a QS at the end of the year. I also took a manual cli at that time, not eligible for another until late June or early July. The other is a QS1 that should be eligible for a cli in late March. This is also when the AF comes due, which I would like not to pay.

There is a small balance on the QS1 but nothing on the QS. I have seen on the website where I can move my cb from one account to another and know this should be done before the combine.

I don't think I'm currently eligible to combine since it doesn't show up on the website. Any idea when I might be able to?

I believe there is a six month period before you can PC again (similar to CLIs)

Strange. I dont see the link to combine accounts. It was always there before on all 3 cards. Even in search when you load the "I want to" it doesnt show it either. Wonder if they nerfed it. Ut oh. Not that I would combine. Was trying to help you. But guess not.

Cap doesn’t combine accounts anymore, there was a thread about this recently.

They have made a number of changes that are very unfriendly. No more unsecuring of cards that were issued in 2018, no more account combinations, and they have majorly tightened up CLIs. 

In axing account combinations, they have removed any interest I had in getting a second card with them unless I decide to pick my PlayStation card up again (I never should have closed that one).

Great morning!! I just Combined my QS1 into my QS 3 weeks ago. Some of the criteria for the Combo is to have account open at least 6 months, and you can't have a balance on the card you are trying to combo. I tried the first time with a Balance on my QS1. And i got denied. I paid it off a week or so later then tried again, boom!!! Done.😀😀

They’ve really tightened up on a lot of things at capital one. New approvals, CLIs and account combos. Unfortunately they are becoming a very strict lender, at least with their higher end products.
