Capital One Credit Steps program - CLI with small purchases..

I just started getting offers in the mail for the card and finally gave in.

You don't have to call . All their sub prime card like the platinum and journey are automatically enrolled in credit steps .

i think i ruined my credit steps chances lol. because they said that it starts with a $300 limit and after 6 on time payments it goes to $500.... well i didn't do 6 on time payments lol.

2011XTERROR. You prolly ok. If I remember correctly if u miss one it resets the 6 month time frame but is still possible.

well i haven't made payments in a long time because it's at a $0 balance and i don't use it. does that count lol

Not sure on that. Might be good to use it for something small. Then PIF just after charge and that way it shows use.

i have been with capital one for a year. First time when i applied they gave me $ 500 cl. Six months later it automatic raised my credit limit to 3500. Today i hit the cli button on their webiste, i got instance cli for $3000. lead to total of $6500 credit limit. I am new to credit, my length of my credit liek 1 year and half.

i originally got a secured card. then was approved for 500 for the qs1. im planning on cancelling my secured card cause there is not any reward for it. i use the qs1 alot. 1st month charged over 1000 but i was paying it 1-2 weekly. same thing with second month. my bill should cut on the 2nd. how should i go about asking for an increase?
