I have and it comes up with "we have no offers for you currently". This will be because I do not yet have six months of credit history to generate fico scores yet. I'm confident about a Zync approval because aside from having only one credit card account and 6 months of history there is nothing bad in my history and all payments are full and on time. So I'm hoping there are no red flags that would cause them to deny me. Planj of attack is Zync in a month or two, then a prime Visa/Mastercard revolver for when AMEX is not accepted, then enter garden mode for awhile.
Unrelated question now, would it help in an application or a recon to provide bank statements that show I have enough money to cover any purchases? I don't want to have to recon, but what would you try to say if you did have to?
For example if I get denied for Zync with the main reasons being too short of credit history what do I say to try and recon?

never lie about what u make,, and if u need to do a recon ask about the hard limit zync with the auto pay from ur checking account,,, btw when does ur 6th month statement on ur 1 card cut?
and what is the 1 card that u have?
Just got my 5th month's statement and the CLI today to 750.00 as set out in the credit steps program letter. My 6th statement cuts February 21st and is viewable February 24th. I should be able to check my fico scores by the end of february then I think. If they are good I will apply.
I literally have no idea what my scores will look like though. The score estimators give a huge range as well.
I have Capital One Cash Rewards for Newcomers Platinum Mastercard with a 750.00 credit limit
well i hope u have a score by the end of feb
Are you able to pply for more than one card at a time and only get one hard pull? For example lets say I apply for AMEX Gold and AMEX Zync. If I get approved for both, one, or none would it just be one hard pull if I applied the same day?

i have heard both yes and no,, i have heard apply for the zync and if approved try the blue card all on same pull,,, why would u do a zync and gold? both charge cards
I'm not saying I would do that, it was more just a question of if it is possible to. I'm going to shoot for Zync no matter what because it best suits my needs for now. I am not a fan of the rewards system for the card in the form of express points, but the peripheral benefits are still AMEX such as warranty protection, purchase protection, entertainment access, rental insurance, customer service, backdating, etc.
Now this may be wishful thinking, but does Capital One ever offer one of their 'prime' cards if you establish a good history with them? The Venture card is appealing if they gave decent credit limits.
