No way the EO abused
1) can't combine my accounts via computer can you
2) I got a CLI yesterday but it wasn't enough
3) I was denied 2 weeks ago can you manually review my denial again my scores have changed since last weeks manual review of the denial and my baddie fell off
4) we changed the number from abuse and require a pin but now the pin is shared and we get calls all day
5) i want an APR reduction
6) GW
7) my dog ate my card can you reduce my APR, give me CLI, remove my lates from 2 months ago, waive my interest and AF, combine my cards, oh and I almost forgot send me a new card and if you can make the CLI from 1k-5k I want a WEMC not a WMC that's not good enough and I know you have them cause I read it on the web @ myFico
Now how in the world can Cap1 view this as abuse?
If I don't get my way I'm closing Crap1 I have better cards ......ha ha ha ha Smh ROFLOL
The nerve of Cap1 to finally take a smart business decision to stop bleeding money from this abuse that quite frankly went way to far and as a business owner I can understand the decision and the cost savings probably associated with it ...
Joey to answer your question now the UW's can now do their job uninterrupted and review accounts for those that are eligible for a 6 month CLI
review the flagged computer apps that say 7-10 days for possible overturning of that decision
Only now upper EO management won't be sending them and in some cases petty and ridiculous stuff that needed to be handled within 2-3 days putting some other poor person that has been spending money taking care of their card and knows nothing about the EO who deserves an auto CLI
Maybe only $500 but hey its auto luv via UW....

Not surprising at all.
People just have to accept Capital One for what they are and aren't and stop trying to pull teeth to make things happen.
My fico'ers blew up CO EO phone lines. CS will be next. Last time I called he said your calling for a CLI arent you. I said yes.

I think Goodwill Letters are really the only reason to contact the EO because frontline CSRs won't be able to do anything about those. I think sending an email or a snail mail letter to the EO for a goodwill is acceptable. But you totally nailed it on the others! LOL
I don't get why I see so many complaints about Cap1 CSRs. I've called a few times and every CSR has been very polite and helpful. I called the other night to change my name, the woman was very nice, congratulating me on my marriage. She changed my name in the system there and they Fedex'd me a new card with my new name (I got it today!). Then again, I'm not really a difficult or demanding customer. I would've been fine if they sent the new card regular mail, lol.

I so agree with you but due to the other abuses now the GW system will probably suffer from the other calls
Which IMHO is a real disservice for those trying to repair

I strongly agree. I think the "terrible CSR" mantra has picked up too much steam: probably due to the trivial requests that people would end up taking to the EO. Frankly, I'm glad they shut it down. CLIs are not really what the EO is for.

They kind of have loosened the cli via web site. There are other purposes for them. I can see the abuse (I did it myself awhile back), but gardening strong here as well. Abusing the credit I have now.
