Hello, I have received a pre-approved offer for Capital One SaverOne Master card 0% APR for 9 Months, I have a question, will this pre-approved offer cost me a hard pull? or just a soft-pull being pre-approved?
I have a quicksiver with them, but I would like to know if they will do a hard pull if I send the application. I appreciate your help and comments
It's gonna cost you multiple hard pulls. Up to three. Preapprovals are the soft pulls to determine whether you met the minimum requirements at the time of them pulling your info. Once you complete the application, expect multiple pulls.
As mentioned above, it will result in 3 Hard Pulls -- one for each CRA.
ooohh I am waiting June for 1 year in garden and shot to chase flex freedom and amex cash magnet, Do you think that is bad idea take the pre-approved offer for saver one now?, the email say that 1 april is the last day to apply for this offer..

I was "lucky" and only had two hard pulls for my QS. 😂

I would wait. Especially if you've been gardening specifically for those cards.

If you're going for the Freedom Flex, that card will earn you 3% on dining just like the SavorOne, so something to keep in mind. I'd hold off for Chase, but that's just me. I have the Savor card, and I am actually a fan of Cap1, but I'll certainly be one of the first to say that there are better cards out there. If you've gone this far with your garden goal, I say you stick it out.
thank you very much I think the same.
What mean exactly the email "pre-approved"? only that I meat the card approval criteria?
My first card with BOA was an offer in BOA app, and not need hard pull for this card..
I am confused about "pre-approved" mean..
I too would wait and app for one of the Chase Freedom cards.

Pre-approved means that the lender has run a SP on your reports, and that you have met an initial set of credentials that they are looking for in an applicant with that card. Sometimes the lender themself does this, sometimes they hire a third party organization to do it for them. While some pre-approvals are more solid than others, it is never a 100% guarantee. The lender will still perform a HP in most instances when you decide to formally apply. I'm not familiar with BOA, but there are certain times when existing lenders will extend an all but firm offer to you which as in your case resulted in a SP. with Cap1 this will not be the case.
