Capital One- No more apr reductions for rest of 2020, maybe longer

Time to call in to request apr reductions on all cards and was told Capital One will not grant anymore apr reductions indefinitely. CSR said not just for me, for everyone.  Question:  Has anyone gotten one from them lately?

Capital One never did permanent APR reductions so not that big of a loss

9.5 pts. may not seem like much......but it is.  I didn't mind calling in every 6 months to request another reduction, it's a loss to me nonetheless.

Even though I always PIF, I also call in every 6 months and consider this a loss...😞

I have to be honest, I did realize that CapOne ever did APR reductions. Just didn't think they were into that kinda customer friendly stuff.

Well, they were.  I remember when we could chat too.....(((sigh))).

I've even gotten flowers from them, without having a hardship complaint (they do that) although a cli would have been nicer.  Without BT offers, cli requests every 6 months regardless of spend, and now this............the customer friendly stuff is kinda gone.

Honestly I stopped calling and asking back in 2018 when I got my CU cards. Even with their temporary reduction, I was still paying like 14% if I carried a balance.

@GApeachy That unfortunate. I still have a QS with a 44.5k limit that I'm shocked they haven't reduced.

Smiley Surprisedyou shouldn't have said that.....just joking. Smiley Tongue

That's a killer limit and it's a sd card?  I'm just not gonna run high spend for a card that'll reduce if I don't continually run high spend. Might as well leave it be.
