none justvmake sure its quicksilver and not qs one due to af...i love my qs
there is no catch, they just upgrade your exiting lesser card to a quicksilver(one), take the offer.
i have 2 cap1 cards since 2001, have to call repeatly to get anything done.
do you currently have annual fee on your account? if yes, call to have them removed, if no just do not worry about it
congratulation on your auto upgrade!
They planned to convert a whole bunch of "eligible" accounts to Quicksilver (or QS One), presumably to simplify their product line and thus support costs. When I spoke with the EO maybe 18 months ago, he said they were working through 8M accounts that were conversion-eligible.
As others have said, no catch, hassle-free upgrade to a great card!
I would call the number on the back of your card or message them via chat. The conversion takes 10 minutes or less! I just upgraded mine!

I just upgraded my plain Visa Platinum to the QS via chat. It was easy and quick.
You keep the same account number.

It's an offer to PC. Take it. I've done several PC's with them, and they remain my highest limit card. It beats closing and reapplying... no hard inquiry, no new account.
Cap1 upgraded me from the platinum card to the green cash rewards card a while back (now the quicksilver), I kept the same account number and account opening date. All that changed was the design on my card.
