Well this was a shocker when I got home tonight. This will mark the very first pre-approval i've gotten in the mail since my BK in June '09. Of course, it's going in the shredder. I don't want to risk a possible auto-CLI on my NFCU card this April.
Nonetheless, it was a good feeling seeing "pre-approved" on the envelope.
Positive signs in your journey are always a great thing to see!
I'm not sure what card it was for. I looked at it for a minute and then shredded it. I have one store card and two Visas, plus a mortgage. That's enough credit for me right now. I might get a new car next year.
@Wanderer, I know that approach definately works for some people. After reckless spending which landed me in BK I don't feel the need to have more than what I currently have. I don't necessarily begrudge others who do feel the need for 8-10 or more cards, although I don't believe it's a healthy addiction. Plus i'm a member of NFCU. I don't see what Capital One could offer me that Navy Fed can't. I'm treating NFCU real good and hope that in a years time when i'm ready to buy a new car they'll treat me well too.

+1 Credit varies for everyone. Some people prefer 1 card while others have over 100 cards on here (not saying any names )
I know this is off topic a but does usf813 mean the Univ of South Florida on Fowler in Tampa (near Temple Terrace I believe)? If so, I have a sister that went there!
Yes it does. I graduated from there in 2003. I'm a born and raised Tampan. I grew up in Temple Terrace, near Whiteway drive.
