The girl was very nice ... she asked if I got a letter (I lied) ..... she searched and searched and searched and then said that the letter must have been sent to me in error (it happens sometimes)
she did not see any upgrades available for me.
She then review my account - because I asked what I could do better and she told me that I have used my account well.
She said to go online apply for a cap one card that I want. She said when I get the card in the mail and I call to activate, that I should ask to combine the cards.
She said that this will give me all of my cap 1 history AND both credit limits.
She said she combines accounts all of the time.
Of couse, I knew about if from this website but to have the credit card company tell me to do it - that was a first for me.
Gosh Lyssa, you got some good info out of it. Now you know don't even waste your time calling before then. 
They told me that same thing back in October.....call back in December. I did and they dropped my APR and permanently waived the A/F and monthly fee on my card.
