My annual fee was coming due on my QS1 so I decided to see if I could upgrade.

A three minute chat with a rep and I now have a QuickSilver World Mastercard coming my way.

I'd like to thank this community - if I was just muddling through on my own I would never know I could do this and just swallowed the fee as a cost of building credit.

Congrats. I've been trying to get my QS upgraded to WMC for months now but Cap One isn't budging. I have several better cards now so I'm basically only keeping it because it's my oldest card.
