Agreed. The card does look fake, I don't like it either. Smiley LOL  

 

I was ready to completely let go of Capital One before getting the Quicksilver, but I am liking the 1.5% cash back on every purchase.  Is it possible to get a different design?

you can put your design your own cards and put you own picture on the cards

true since they are not embossed but neither is Discover IT

i have been working with the coperate office to get them upgraded i have 2 accounts with 10 g credit lines they wont change them over to the signature becuase its visa but they will change them to world mastercards for me

They'll tell you they're WMC but they're really not. Why not just apply for a new one to be segmented as World or Visa Sig? That's the ONLY way to change an account now at C1

I agree with everyone. They look fake. Capital One should hire a new designer to give ALL their cards a serious makeover and bring them all into the 21st century.

But as mentioned, Cap One makes it trivial to put your own design on the card, and the "custom" one will have embossed numbers.
