Hi all,
I have a Capital One Quicksilver Visa Platinum. I would like to get it converted to Visa Signature. I spoke to a CSR this morning, and she said I would have to contact Visa because it's a benefit they provide. I was a little confused with this part since Capital One will have to issue the card eventually. Has anyone done this PC? How should I approach it, do I call Visa or should I call Capital One backdoor? Thanks.

slvrhwk,
I posted an update in the thread below regarding my Visa Signature upgrade success:
As I mentioned in the thread, I contacted the Cap One EO office via email.
kdm31091 had success with this upgrade by contacting the EO office by phone. You may want to read through the following thread for more information:
If you want to contact the EO office via email, you can search for the email using Google. Good luck.

Don't call the CSRs. Reach out to CAP 1 EO directly and you will get the answer you need.
Don't contact Visa. That suggestion is pure naivety on the part of the CSR.
You need to contact the EO. Be prepared for the process to involve several weeks of back and forth phone calls and hassle but it can be done -- I did this process too.
I have heard email is the most effective way of getting this done. Can someone DM me the email address of EO? I tried to google it, but couldn't find it.

In the competition for most ignorant customer service people, you got the grand champion.
For me, trying to get my platinum mastercard changed to world was pain in the butt WITH EO, when I called EO, they simply checked if i was eligible to upgrade my card and told me "no".
But when I was chatting with front line customer rep, I PC'd my card and asked if it will be switched to world mastercard, and got it changed. easy peasy.
